Customs Charges

There may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK. The Shakespeare Shop is not responsible for paying these charges.

Customs charges and policies vary widely from country to country. Orders for international shipping will be subject to import duties and taxes levied on arrival in their destination country. You are liable for any additional charges for customs clearance and if a package is refused and has to be returned to us, you will also be liable for the cost of this. If you are unsure of charges and regulations which may apply to your order, please contact your local customs office for further information. Generally, customs forms for internal packages will list the value of the contents of your order by product type.

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. You should be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Delivery Times
We aim to deliver shop products to Europe within 2-4 weeks

Deliveries to non-EU countries within Europe may also be subject to unforeseen delays as they pass through EU countries. If you made an order more than 4 weeks ago and still haven’t received your delivery, please contact us.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

In accordance with European Union consumer protection regulations, if you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) acquires, physical possession of the goods.

How to claim your right of withdrawal:

To use your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail).
