Artist’s Statement:

I chose A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Fairies. I adore the way the play uses the intrigues of such capricious, changeable beings as these - with their mysterious powers to put us mortals in thrall on a whim - to tell a story about what love and infatuation can do to us. It seems so real and so absurd at the same time, just as it should be.
