Mulling Spices for Mulled Wine, Cider or Apple Juice
A sachet containing fresh spices, beautifully presented in a hessian bag and made exclusively for us. An ideal stocking filler for Christmas and a must over the festive season.
Ingredients: Dried Mixed Peel, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Black Peppercorns, Nutmeg, Bay Leaves, Cloves, Star Anise and Ginger.
To make mulled wine add 100g
of sugar to a pan with the juice
of 2 clementines along with 1 sachet of spices.
Add enough wine to cover and simmer for
5 minutes. Add the remaining bottle of wine and gently warm for another 5 minutes.
For a great alternative for kids or non-drinkers, make using 1 litre of apple juice with no need to add any sugar!
